Here at Nikko Nature Science Museum, the nature experience is offered throughout the year with the nature guide’s (nature commentator) guidance.
The content of the guidance is not just about explaining the names of animals and plants; it actually is a learning program to experience various nature phenomenon by touching natural soil, leaves, trees and water, listening to the nature sound, and even using the sense of taste at times for real.
Instead of following the manual, with the guidance of “nature commentator” the expert of Okunikko, the ad-lib of spontaneous comments on natural phenomena occurring in front of the participants receives good reputation.
